At Sam & S.A.M. Dog Kennel, we offer guided sled dog rides through the Kootenai National Forest in Montana. Our priority is the well-being of our dogs and preserving the traditional art of dog sledding. Our experienced guides and friendly dogs ensure a safe and authentic experience for visitors, travel at the speed of dog viewing scenic forest landscape meet the dogs that make it all happen and warm yourself next to a campfire back at the kennel/ homestead with a cup of coco or coffee.
We started our journey as off-grid Mountain Men who relied on our dogs for essential transportation. As we explored the beauty of the forest, we fell in love with sledding and the unique bond that we formed with our dogs. We decided to share this experience with others, and Sam & S.A.M. Dog Kennel was born. Our core values revolve around our love and respect for our dogs and the environment. Join us and experience the thrill of dog sledding like never before.

The kennel name Sam & S.A.M. is named after Samuels first dog team Scooter Attica and Maya. The three that started it all! many of the current dogs are there decedents. living off the grid 30 miles from Eureka MT. these dogs have been used for travel in the winter months. We are now sharing the love and respect of our companions with others.
